Matthew Scrutton is a Research & Data System Officer at First Nations Legal and Research Services. Matthew’s role involves research work, while maintaining the data sovereignty of research files and overall records of management system administration. A recent highlight for Matthew was attending the 2023 Eastern Maar consent determination.  

Outside of work Matthew is a multi-instrumentalist musician, vocalist and songwriter, playing most rock band related instruments. He is also involved in cricket in the summer & curling in winter.
