Will Crawford

Will is a Senior Lawyer at First Nations Legal and Research Services and primarily practices in post-determination agreement making transactions. Will has a strong interest in renewable energy, cultural heritage, planning and environment law. Will has previously worked at the Northern Land Council, the Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation, the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency and Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst).  

His career highlights include being the lead negotiator on the first Aboriginal Land Rights Act (Northern Territory) s19A Township lease at Gunyangara/Ski Beach (near Nhulunbuy); and the lead negotiator for the Arnhem Space Centre (near Gulkala), the first commercial space base in Australia.  

Will has a strong interest in arts and culture and when he’s not attending live theatre and spoken word performances, he is an irregular standup comedian.
