Kieren was born in Wagga Wagga and grew up in Cowra in Central West NSW. He completed a Bachelor of Laws (Hons)/Bachelor of Commerce at the Australian National University before joining the Native Title Research Unit at AIATSIS.  

Kieren joined First Nations Legal and Research Services in 2023 and was admitted as a Victorian Lawyer at the beginning of 2024. He is committed to helping other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People live happy, self-determined lives through the realisation of land justice. Outside of work Kieren is a performing and recording artist.
